Things I Ate Today

I had this lousy fried chicken for my lunch. Don't get cheated by its looks. See the plate? Yes, it's not a kid's, but mine :) A Disney's melamine plate! :D I got it from Mom and has been using it for more than 10 years. She really knew how much I love Mickey Mouse...

I felt very sentimental today when I surfed on-line as Mother's Day is nearing. I miss Mom more... Reading Mother's Day quotes, seeing Mother's Day quotes... I hold my tears, but I sobbed. Every time I cry when I remember Mom, the tears aren't for her, but for myself, as she's in the Happiest Place now.

Ah. I should stop feeling sorry for myself too much :)

In the afternoon, I saw one of my neighbors stopped this "es campur" man, so I asked Miskiyah to get a bowl too for me. Es Campur is Indonesian dessert. It has avocado, young coconut meat, algae, and other kind of fruits. The finishing touch is the shredded ice, before it's poured with condensed milk and sometimes syrup.

And this is how my "es campur" looked like when it's done!

I've had my dinner and fortunately it's better than my lunch!
